Who can join?
Who Can Join?
Any self-identified woman or non-binary individual who wants to sing!
Age
This choir is geared toward adults, both in musical selections and teaching style, but youth are welcome with an accompanying parent (under 15 must attend with a parent) or parental approval. Parents/Guardians, please listen to the songs on the set list prior to registering to determine your comfort level with the lyrics and content, check out a rehearsal or two before committing, and email the director at westernskychoir@gmail.com with questions.

Experience
No prior singing, musical or music reading experience is needed. This choir is geared toward beginners and intermediate singers, and is a great place to learn. Music is taught in a call-and-response manner, and both sheet music and practice tracks are provided to help singers learn music.

Vocal Range
Songs are easily adapted to fit a wide variety of vocal ranges! Many singers have vocal ranges outside of the traditional "soprano" and "alto" ranges, and the director will work with singers and provide alternative options for notes outside of their vocal range.
