What to expect

Singing can be scary!

Below are details on what you can expect at the first rehearsal.

First Rehearsal

Arrive

Doors open at 6:30 (so no need to arrive too early!). Chairs will be provided, and the director will ask you to sit in sections with high voices on one side, low voices on the other side, middle voices in the middle, and those unsure in the middle or near the front.

Sing

We will start learning "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten. Printed sheet music will be provided. Music is taught through call-and-response and will be accompanied by our pianist. This song has two parts, a high and a low. You can test out both parts to see what works best for you! You will NOT be asked to sing alone.

Then what?

After trying out high and low voice parts, you can decide which you'd like to sing for the season (or give it some more time). If you enjoyed the rehearsal, you can submit payment and join as a member! You may also try out one more rehearsal before committing.
